Abstract
Pilomatricoma is a benign skin adnexal tumor arising from the matrix cells of hair follicles. Ossifying pilomatricoma is a rare variant characterized by the presence of heterotopic bone formation within the tumor. We report a case of this rare lesion in a 19-year-old female, that was successfully managed. This case highlights the diagnostic challenges, histopathological features, pathogenesis, and treatment outcomes to assist clinicians in the accurate diagnosis and management of this unusual entity.
